Domaine des Châteaux: Spa Hotel in Alsace

Domaine des Châteaux is located in Ottrott, a few minutes from Obernai, at the foot of Mont Sainte-Odile and on the Alsace Wine Route.

Its setting makes it easy to reach Strasbourg to the north, Colmar and the famous wine-growing villages to the south, while enjoying direct access to the forests and the Vosges mountains.

This privileged location means you can discover Alsace from a single base, alternating between excursions, nature, fine dining and wellness.

This is not access limited to a small part of the wellness area: you have full use of all our pools, Jacuzzis, saunas, hammams, relaxation areas and wellness facilities, subject to the age requirements and opening hours specific to each area.

Spa access is included from 3 pm on the day of your arrival until 11 am on the day of your departure.

Would you like to make the most of it? Our Early Spa and Late Spa options let you begin your experience before 3 pm on the day of arrival, or extend it beyond 11 am on the day of departure.

Massages, treatments and other services are available at extra cost and by appointment.

Yes. The Spa at Domaine des Châteaux is also open to outside guests, with no obligation to stay at the hotel, through our various Day Spa packages.

Depending on the package chosen, you can enjoy our wellness areas and combine your day with a massage or treatment, or lunch or dinner at La Table des Châteaux.

As places are deliberately limited in order to preserve the comfort and calm of the areas, booking in advance is required.

The Domaine enjoys an ideal location for discovering very different faces of Alsace.

Close by are Obernai, Mont Sainte-Odile, the Alsace Wine Route, the vineyards and many Alsatian villages. You can also devote a day to Strasbourg, Colmar, Haut-Koenigsbourg castle, the emblematic villages of the Wine Route or the Vosges mountains.

For families, many activities are also within reach, notably Europa-Park, which makes for an easy day trip.

The Domaine's central location means you can unpack just once and head out in a different direction each day, before returning to the Spa and the Domaine in the evening.

From Ottrott, each day can take on a different character: enjoying the Spa and the Domaine, setting off on foot or by bike through the forests and the vineyards, hiking up to Mont Sainte-Odile and the castles, following the Wine Route or discovering Obernai, Strasbourg, Colmar and the Alsatian villages.

With three or four nights, you have enough time to alternate wellness, nature, outdoor activities, fine dining and cultural discoveries, without having to choose between exploring the region and enjoying your spa hotel.

And from one stay to the next, the experience renews itself: the trails, the forests, the vineyards and the landscapes of the Vosges reveal themselves differently with the seasons, always offering new reasons to come back.

Yes. Various stay packages let you combine your accommodation with half board at La Table des Châteaux, including breakfast and dinner each evening.

You can therefore enjoy your day at the Spa or set off to discover Alsace, then return to the Domaine in the evening for dinner without having to take the car again or look for a restaurant.

When half board is included in your package, your table is automatically reserved each evening at La Table des Châteaux.

Your room is available from 3 pm on the day of your arrival and must be vacated before 11 am on the day of your departure. These times match the information currently published by the property.

If you arrive earlier, you are of course welcome to leave your luggage at reception.

Spa access is included from 3 pm on the day of arrival until 11 am on the day of departure.

If you would like to make more of your stay, two options are available, subject to availability:

• Early Spa: enjoy the Spa before 3 pm, even before your room is ready;
• Late Spa: extend your Spa access beyond 11 am, once your room has been vacated.

You can therefore start earlier or extend your wellness experience, independently of your room's availability times.
